Welcome to St Paul's

CHILDREN'S CHURCH

We very pleased to annnouce that St Paul's is now running a Children's Church during our regular Sunday services, between 10-11am. Ella Lofts will be hosting a group in the Grove Park Room (which is is at the front of the church, next to the Vestry) for our smaller visitors, with fun activities and stories. If you have children under three, you are invited to accompany them iand stay for the activities. Children aged three and above may join the group unaccompanied if they’re comfortable with you remaining in Church for the service.
Please speak to Ella Lofts
or Rev'd Caroline for more details, especially if you are able to help us run the sessions as we develop this exciting new offering.

EVERYONE WELCOME

Of course children and babies are always welcome to stay in chuch with their parents for any of our services. There is space at the back of the church where parents or carers cansit with their little ones and make use of the books and toys. They are also welcome to go into the Grove Park Rooms next to the vestry at any point, and there are toilets here also.

Some of our services are especially for children. Here you see our 2024 Christingle Service which was a very magical and joyous occasion. We were also extremely pleased to raise £126 for The Children's Society with our collection. You can find out more about their important work on their website here

Shelagh Allsop and Rev'd Caroline make regular visits to Strand on the Green Primary School, to talk to the children about Christian festivals.

Stay and Play

These sessions for babies and toddlers together with their parents and carers run every Friday morning. There's loads to do, both indoors and outdoors, and it's a good way to meet other parents and carers in your neighbourhood. The group runs on Fridays during term times, in the church hall, next to the church from 9:30-11:30. At the end of the session we usually go into church to sing songs to the members of the Coffee Club!  For more information, please contact Shelagh Allsop on 07710 385839. We ask for a £1 voluntary contribution per family, which includes drinks and snacks!
