OUR FACILITIES
The Grove Park Rooms (previously known as the Isis Rooms), the lovely church garden and the church itself are all available to hire. They are frequently used for concerts, parties, fetes, meetings, excercise groups, children's birthdays, book groups, meditation sessions, summer celebrations and much more!

In 2024 we were delighted to be awarded a grant to refurbish the Grove Park Rooms and kitchen. A local Grove Park resident nominated us for the funds and we received £20,000 towards this work. To ensure the success of this project, we set up a multi-disciplinary team of architects and project managers, including our fabulous builder Phil Robinson who you see pictured here with Rev'd Caroline. The whole team brought expertise and energy to the project and we are hugely grateful for their help - you can see them lined up below at the opening of the new rooms in January 2025. The hall and toilets ahave now been fully refurbished and the existing kitchen facilities upgarded to better meet the needs of community users. The hall has been repainted, and the flooring replaced and it is now a bright and attractive space. The work on developing an accessible picnic and play garden is still ongoing, but it is already much improved!

HIRING THE CHURCH

Our church has a superb acoustic, and is increasingly in demand as a venue for recitals, concerts and reheasals. It can comfortably seat 300 people, and the old 1920s choir stalls have been removed, which means there is now a very large space at the top of the church which can be used by musicians or singers. Some groups have also hired raised staging which makes this space even more effective when used by a large choir, or you can use the red chairs we have in church.

Below you see the 100-strong West London Chorus rehearsing in the space using a few wooden boxes to add extra height on the back row. The second picture shows that there is even room for a 36 piece orchestra (the British Sinfonietta) on the floor in front of the choir. There is a good quality organ, and we have a Petrov grand piano. There is a high quality Bose sound system with speakers throughout the church. St Paul's has been a regular rehearsal venue for the West London Chorus and is also the venue for their spring concert. It is also frequently used for concerts by the Kew Sinfonia and Hounslow Symphony Orchestra and was recently used for the inaugural Chiswick Brass Festival.  If you would like to book the church as a rehearsal, recording or concert venue, please fill in the enquiry form above.

"West London Chorus has been rehearsing and performing at St Paul's for some time now.  With an excellent piano, a large, flexible space and a warm, generous acoustic, it suits the group's needs very well."

Hilary Campbell
Musical Director, West London Chorus

The picture below is the view from the stage of a very full church, all ready for the West London Chorus's 2024 perfomance of Schubert's beautiful Mass in A flat. The short YouTube clip is of the Chorus rehearsing the Kyrie. As you can hear, the accoustics in the church are very resonant.

"Kew Sinfonia are delighted to perform our concerts at St Paul's Church and are very grateful for their support of our orchestra.  We particularly appreciate the friendly, super-helpful staff who always host us with a relaxed, flexible approach and a really warm welcome!"

Kew Sinfonia Orchestra

The ten-minute film below shows the church in full use as a concert venue for Hear the People Sing, a celebration of the 150th Anniversary of St Paul's. As you can see, the space has easily accomodated a large choir and an orchestra, and even the pulpit is being used by the foxy narrator!

In 2025 St Paul's Church was used as the venue for the inaugural Chiswick Brass Festival. The church was in constant use during the day for workshops and concerts by many small brass ensembles, and then in the evening a large brass group performed a spectacular concert.

HIRING THE GROVE PARK ROOMS

The Grove Park Rooms (also known as the Isis rooms or church hall) adjoin the church and can be accessed through the church and also from two separate outside doors which lead into the garden. (The upstairs room is currently rented by a local business.) The lower hall is a lovely light bright space. The floor is wooden, and there are plenty of tables and chairs. There is a serving hatch through to the hall from the kitchen, which is well equipped with a sink, oven, hob and microwave. The hall and its adjoining church garden are available for booking for parties and are very popular for birthdays and other celebrations!

(The pictures of the interior of the rooms below are very old, predating the recent refurbishment, and will be updated shortly!)

If you would like to book the Grove Park Rooms, please complete the enquiry form above.

HIRING THE CHURCH GARDEN

The church hall leads out into a private and completely enclosed garden which contains benches and some children's play equipment making it a superb venue for a fete, picnic, wedding party or other outdoor event! It can be booked together with the hall, or separately. If you would like to book the garden then please fill in the enquiry form above.

The pictures above and below are from the Grove Park Group Summer Parties in 2024 and 2023, which were held in the church garden and thoroughly enjoyed by all who came!
